This counts a a back link and will rank your blog higher in the search engines. If your are trying to rank your blog try to make at least 10 comments per day on the forums. This will count towards your rankings. A lot of these forums are high authority and high rank.  If you have a link every time you comment your post it will show your link. This counts as a back link.
